Buy My Darlings & Artist Coaching

Since 2020, I have co-directed Buy My Darlings, a recurring platform and sales event for lens-based art, which I founded together with photographer Martijn van de Griendt. The initiative brings together artists, publishers and audiences in an accessible and vibrant setting. Each edition is personally curated and presents a carefully selected mix of emerging and established makers who work with photography as a starting point.

Alongside a multi-week exhibition and an intensive three-day public programme — including artist talks, book launches and portfolio reviews — Buy My Darlings continues to support artists throughout the year through coaching sessions, portfolio reviews and public talks.

Sharing knowledge and supporting fellow artists is an essential part of my practice. Since 2019, I have coached students from various academies in preparation for their graduation projects, as well as independent artists working on project-based or multidisciplinary practices.

I offer individual coaching sessions focused on helping artists reach the core of their work — whether in photography, film, installation or other lens-based practices. Sessions take place in my studio in Amsterdam or online.

Session duration: 1–1.5 hours
Longer coaching trajectories (for example, 10 sessions) are also available.
