Buy My Darlings & Artist Coaching

Since 2020, I have co-directed Buy My Darlings, a recurring platform and sales event for lens-based art, which I founded together with Martijn van de Griendt. The festival brings together artists, publishers, and audiences in an accessible, vibrant setting. Each edition is personally curated and features a carefully selected mix of emerging and established makers who work with photography as a base.

Alongside a multi-week exhibition and a dynamic three-day program—with artist talks, book presentations, and portfolio reviews—we continue to support artists throughout the year via coaching sessions, portfolio reviews, and public talks under the Buy My Darlings name.

Sharing knowledge and supporting fellow artists is an essential part of my practice. Since 2019, I’ve coached students from various academies in preparation for their graduation shows, as well as independent artists working on project-based or multidisciplinary work.

I offer individual coaching sessions that focus on helping artists reach the core of their project—whether working in photography, film, installation, or other lens-based practices. Sessions take place in my studio in Amsterdam or online.
